Chew family: Sentence Henning to death!

(Albuquerque)   Andrew Chew, brother of Girly Chew Hossencofft, has provided me with a copy of his family's statement which is to be read in court during this week's sentencing phase of the Linda Henning murder trial.

The statement is written by Girly's father, Mr. Chew Shing Kheng:

"First of all, we would like to thank The State of New Mexico for their resources and assistances rendered to us - the victim's family, and more important is for pursuing the case which had cost an abundance amount of money. We are extremely grateful to the Albuquerque Police Department, the scientists and DNA experts for their effort by building the case and develop the trace evidence which have taken relentless hours, the FBI for assisting, the media by keeping us abreast with the latest news, and an enormous gratitude to the Prosecutors and their team, which have done extremely well by bringing justice to us and putting the murderers where they belong - to death !

 

Our family, relatives, colleagues and close friends has gone through terrible emotional turmoil and distress that words could not describe the agony for the past three years. The pain and sufferings will still continue for a very long time, even after the guilty ones have met their punishment suitably by "death". While waiting for "time" to meet death, then they will see through Girly's eyes the misery of death. However, Linda Henning could consider herself fortunate to be sentence to death by lethal injection or by other methods in accordance to law, because she will not be in the same fate as Girly, that she put her in.

 

Our happiness was robbed from us, and the life of our Girly which was brought up and nurture with love and guidance were taken from us at a very young age of 36, by Diazien Hossencofft and Linda Henning which they thought they are GOD or rather a more appropriate word to describe - DEVIL to take away "life".

 

Now that Linda Henning was found guilty, but she refused to reveal where Girly remains are, that is the least she could do to repent her "sin" before she face death. At least we could honor Girly a proper burial and closure to our family in Malaysia. The only punishment which is appropriate and we SEEK for the cruel, callous, hardhearted murderer - Linda Henning is by death. And we hoped that Girly's soul would "rest in peace" by then.

 

By proving Linda Henning guilty is only a solace for my family, and the world is diminished without her".
